UPSL
UPSL is a plan for solving word problems. We practice these strategies daily in all grades. In Kindergarten, we solve a word problem together on our interactive white board. At the beginning of the year, I act as a guide and a writer as they find the information. As we progress in the year, the children take on the roles of guide and writer as well as information finders.
